Rota dos Templários, a project promoted by the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo, is committed to protecting the privacy of the personal data of the website users of www.templarportugal.com, hereinafter referred to as "website", owned by the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo.
In this context, this Privacy and Personal Data Protection Policy was elaborated, assuming a commitment to respect the rules of privacy and protection of personal data contained in Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of 27 December April 2016 (GDPR), regarding the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the circulation of such data, as well as applicable national legislation (Law no. 58/2019, of 8 August), and also took the necessary technical and organizational measures to comply with the GDPR and ensure that the processing of personal data is lawful, fair, transparent and limited to authorized purposes.
The Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo is also committed with the protection and confidentiality of personal data, having adopted the measures it deems appropriate to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality of personal data, as well as all other rights enjoyed by the respective holders.

The collection and subsequent processing of personal data carried out within the access and use of the services available on the website www.templarportugal.com, will correspond to what is strictly necessary to pursue the purposes of improving performance and user experience.

The Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo only processes personal data strictly necessary to fulfill the purposes described, in compliance with current legislation on the protection of personal data.

1- To exercise before the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo: the right to information; the right of access; the right to rectify inaccurate data; the right to erasure; the right to limitation of treatment; the right to data minimization; the right to object to treatment; the right to data portability; the right not to be subject to automated individual decisions; in situations of consent, the right to withdraw consent at any time, without compromising the lawfulness of the processing carried out based on previously given consent;
2- To exercise before the Data Protection Officer: the right to exhibit presentations.
3- To exercise before the supervisory authority (namely, National Data Protection Commission): the right to lodge a complaint;
4- To exercise before the competent courts: the right to legal action and compensation in the event of violation of your rights.
International data transfer
The Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo does not intend to transfer personal data to a third country or to an international organization.
If this appears necessary, the Comunidade Intermunicipal do Médio Tejo will take the necessary steps to ensure that the level of protection of natural persons guaranteed by the legislation relating to the protection of personal data applicable in Portugal is not compromised.
